Symbiosis National Aptitude test (SNAP), is a national level entrance exam for admission in Symbiosis International University. SIU every year conducts the exam for admission in MBA in its 15 centers. For year 2017 the exam is scheduled on December 17, 2017.

SNAP  Eligibility Criteria 2017 :

Eligibility criteria for SNAP 2017 is minimum 3 years of graduation from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks. For SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum marks bar is 45%. There is no age limit to take SNAP exam. Students in the final year of graduation can also apply. Students are suggested to visit the website of SNAP for a details.

  1. Graduate from any recognized / statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks. 
  2. 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
The International/Foreign Students’ categories are given as under :

Foreign National

Person of Indian Origin

Overseas Citizen of India

Non-Resident Indian

Foreign National is a person who permanently resides out of India and does not hold citizenship of India.

Candidates who possesses a Person of Indian Origin Card (PIO) if they have a PIO card and is a citizen of any other country than India can apply for admission under than this category.

In order to apply under OCI category, a candidate should have an OCI card and should have the overseas citizenship of India.

A candidate will be considered to be an NRI if he/she has given the 10+2 or graduation exam from a country outside India.

A candidate must hold a foreign passport and be a citizen of foreign country in order to fall under this category.


(Overseas Citizen of India are Persons of Indian Origin of certain categories who migrated from India and acquired citizenship of a   foreign country, other than Pakistan and Bangladesh.)

It is compulsory that the candidate should have completed at least one of the 2 qualifying exams outside India.

Application Process

Purpose of SNAP is to evaluate and screen students seeking admission in MBA program in Symbiosis International University. The application process is entirely online. Registrations for SNAP 2017 started from 10th August and will be closing on 24th November 2017. Registration process can be done by logging in the SNAP website and filling the detailed application and institute of admission. SNAP exam is scheduled on 17 December 2017 and results of which will be announced on 28 December 2017.

Candidates will have to upload their latest scanned coloured passport size photo with prescribed size (Photograph should not be more than three months old)

Aspirants will have to fill up their personal, educational, and other details in the space provided in SNAP 2017 application form.


Candidates should ensure that the information filled is accurate.

Application form and Registration

Applications and registrations are all online. Candidate need to login into SNAP’s website and register his or her details in the application form and institute he or she is seeking admission in. There are no offline registrations, but mode of payment of application fees can be offline


Application are thoroughly online, however mode of payment of application fees is both online and offline. Candidates can make payment online via payment gateway using debit cards, credit cards and net banking. If they wish to make an offline payment, they can certainly do so by depositing cash in the account details of SIU and sending the challan sheet at university address or submitting a demand draft in favor of Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ and filling the DD details at the time of registration

Symbiosis international University does not provide any reservation for application process, however for intake of student at the time of final admission the reservation policy as per the constitutional norms. Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%, Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5% Differently.
