Graduate Record Examinations Exam 2018(GRE Exam)

GRE stands for Graduate Record Exam. It is a standardized test for getting admission to various Business Graduate Schools or Graduate Schools. The test is popular in English speaking countries or United States. Those who are interested in pursuing the Master’s Degree or specialized Master’s course like MS, MEM, MBA or doctoral degree can appear for this test. The test is conducted by ETS or Educational Testing Service. GRE test can be given only 5 times in a year. Furthermore, the test can only be given after an interval of 21 days.

Note : 
  • GRE 2018 is a postgraduate test.
  • Students must have cleared undergraduate studies for the examination for entry into Masters or PhD courses abroad, especially across universities in the USA and Canada, among others.

GRE Application Process :

  • Create an ETS account for GRE registration 2018
  • Select GRE test type- GRE General or GRE subject test
  • Set location and date for the GRE 2018
  • Fill academic background information required for GRE registration 2018
  • May payment through American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard or VISA
  • Three ways to register They are : Online, Phone and Mail registration.
  • Candidates can OPT either Online or Mail registration in the case of GRE subject test.
  • Fees for GRE General Test is $205 worldwide. 
  • Fees for GRE Subject test is $150 globally.

GRE 2018 Reservation Details :

  • The cut off marks for a GENERAL category candidate is more than that of the reserved category (SC, OBC, ST).
  • OBC candidate is "10% LESS" than the GENERAL candidate and that of SC and ST.
  • General candidate clears gate if he gets 25, then obc will clear it on getting 22.5 and sc, st will clear it on scoring 16.67.
